Rated 5 out of 5 by Whateverrats from Soft and comfy! My rats love it! Its cozy for there little paws and they even sleep on it, which never happened with wood shavings! I love that it expands that much, you really get your money's worth. For a 12 liter pack I can go on for months changing the bedding every 6-7 days. It's quite cheap also, it's just so worth it, for them as much as for us!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Knicole1 from Amazing product ! My guinea pig loves this bedding. I've used all kinds of colors and varieties. I love the different color options so when you want to change something up you can still use the same brand just change the color . I've tried so many other bedding options and this is by far the best I've used !

What is the odor control formula? The recent bag smells more strongly than usual. I have used this bedding since my mice were young with no problems, but the new bag has put me on edge. I don't want to put their sensitive lungs at risk.

Is this bedding safe for Sugar Gliders?
CritterCare is developed and manufactured specifically for certain small animals (rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, chinchillas and ferrets). We recommend checking with your local vet first before using it for other species. As with any changes to your pet’s care, if you do use it be sure to observe your pet closely for changes in behavior. Potential risk of impaction exists if your pet ingests a significant amount of any type of bedding. If you suspect impaction, discontinue use immediately and seek veterinary care.

Is this safe as a Bearded Dragon substrate?
carefresh® bedding was developed for small animals, though some customers use it with other species. We always suggest checking with your local vet first before using it for an off-label use, such as reptiles. If you do use carefresh® bedding for a species other than the small animals listed, just be sure to watch them closely when you introduce the bedding for the first time.

What kind of paper fibers are these? I think my child is allergic to this when she lets her rabbit on her and never had a problem before this.
It is a sustainable product that is made from natural wood fiber sourced from partnerships with tissue and paper manufacturers. If it is the natural bedding that might be causing the reaction, we suggest trying the White bedding instead which comes only from White virgin reclaimed paper.
